Justice League Action Figures: The Old School Superheroes

Justice League action figures are still among the most popular ones around. If you are a kid, you love them. If you are a kid at heart, they are the old-school figures you grew up with and will always be among the coolest toys around.
The Justice League itself has been in existence since the 1960s. It is one of the comic book classics. At first, it featured seven superheroes from DC Comics: Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter.
Many action figures have been made of all of these characters but four remain the most popular: Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. These four recently were released in a new set which also includes a book of 48 pages on these characters.
Superheroes come and go in popularity but the Justice League, one of the earliest, have always retained their appeal. One only has to look at the popularity of the Batman movies, of Smallville, of the animated cartoons, to see that these characters are not going anywhere. It is hard to imagine any superhero being able to outmatch the appeal of Batman and Superman in particular.
Despite the video age, action figures are still really popular with kids, especially the younger ones. Give them a chance to get away from the television or the computer, and they will tap into their imaginations. The games that can be played with action figures are truly endless. They are really only limited by the imagination of the child playing with them.
If you want to buy some Justice League action figures, you have a lot of choices. Some are brand new, like the new packaged set of four. Others are collectibles, having been stored in their original packages for years and are like new. If you want a surprise that will make a child or a child at heart smile, these are a great choice.
