Marine Corps life is not a job like you see in the civilian world. In the Marine Corps you will travel, get opportunities like no other place and you will become a leader.

Benefits in the Marines are many and those that take advantage of these benefits really enjoy them because they cost almost nothing. Medical benefits are very important for Marines and their families and in the Marines it is practically free compared to civilian health insurance. 30 days paid vacation every year and also base housing that requires no deposit or credit check.

The Marine Corps offers many benefits that every Marine can take advantage of and these are just an addition to the bond Marines share from the day they go to boot camp.

The Marine Corps pays their members a very competitive salary compared to the civilian sector. Medical and dental benefits also have to be taken into consideration because that is a huge advantage when comparing prices between civilian cost for insurance and insurance cost in the Marines.

For anyone to earn the right to be called a US Marine will be very difficult. Drill instructors will make sure that the training is highly challenging and they will push the recruits to their limits. It will take weeks to transform civilians into Marines. After this time the new Marines will be confident and ready to face the challenges ahead of them.

The Marines are here to win battles and to fight for our nation, none better that the US Marines. The reason America wants a Marine Corps is to be their 911 force ready to keep us safe and also free.

Marines go back to their community and apply all the lessons learned while they were in uniform. Former Marines will never forget the time spent serving a purpose bigger than them which is to defend thsi great nation.
